Typical standards of Dr. Ranzer’s surgeries

Use of Ranzer solution for anesthesia and control of bleeding:

Almost every patient will receive a block, typically TAP or Pecs blocks
-
Close incisions with fascia closure, 2-0 vicryl for deep dermals, running quill for dermal layer and then for subcuticular layer

Cover with dermabond
-
Place compression garment

Every patient receives dermabond to cover skin incision

Okay to shower POD#1, no vigorous scrubbing

6 weeks no heavy lifting

Tylenol/Advil alternating, with tramadol.
